Le 8 juin prochain, le Projet Global Lives sera présenté pour la première fois en Europe à Flatteurville (Paris 10e). Présenté sous la forme d'une expo vidéo, ce projet est un éclairage sur la vie quotidienne d'individus vivant dans dix pays différents. Le fondateur de l'ONG, David Evan Harris, et l'interprète/photographe du segment tourné à Chatila au Liban, Lucie Kroening, seront sur place pour présenter le projet et répondre aux questions. L'expo a été organisée par Carla Diamond.
Global Lives est un collectif de réalisateurs, artistes, photographes, anthropologues, sociologues, professeurs et étudiants bénévoles avec le but de créer une vidéothèque de l'expérience humaine. L'exposition comprend 240 heures de vidéo tournées dans dix pays différents: Chine, Japon, Liban, USA, Kazakhstan, Malawi, Brésil, Serbie, Inde et Indonésie.
Il y aura à boire et à grignoter!

For the first time ever in Europe, the Global Lives Project will publicly present a special preview exhibition of footage of daily life from around the world at Flateurville. Global Lives Project Founder, David Evan Harris, and Global Lives Project Lebanon Translation Lead, Lucie Kroening, will give an introduction to the work and answer questions. Exhibition curated by Carla Diamond.
The Global Lives Project is a collaboration of filmmakers, photographers, artists and everyday people working together to create a video library of human life experience. The show features 240 hours of video of Brazil, Malawi, Japan, China, Indonesia, India, Serbia, Lebanon, Kazakhstan and the US.
