Global Lives Seeks to Expand Board of Directors
The Global Lives Project (GLP) is currently seeking up to five individuals to serve two-year terms on our Board of Directors. We are seeking experienced professionals with expertise in the areas of project management, finance, web development, film/video production, arts, education, publishing, fundraising and marketing.
GLP is a young organization with three major program areas under development: 1) a traveling video installation featuring ten 24-hour recordings of daily life from around the world, 2) a complementary online video library of human life experience, and 3) educational curriculum materials to bring our content into classroom settings.
We conducted our first pilot shoot for the project in November 2004, and received our 501(c)3 status in September, 2007. We are a volunteer-based organization with more than 80 collaborators in eight countries around the world, including filmmakers, photographers, architects, programmers and designers.
