Seeking Project Coordinator

The Global Lives Project is a nonprofit collective effort of dozens of filmmakers, designers, programmers and artists from around the world.  Our goal is to record and display 24 hours in the lives of 10 people that represent the diversity of daily life on our planet. These 10 lives will come together in a unique video installation that can be installed anywhere on earth and become part of a participatory video library of human life experience.

This Project Coordinator position will support the Executive Director with managerial and administrative tasks such as:

  • maintaining communication with international network of stakeholders through e-mails, mailings
  • research on new partners, projects
  • assist with the creation of newsletter
  • event coordination
  • responding to project inquiries
  • general project support
  • assist with fundraising events, mailings and flyers, as needed
  • meet with Executive Director on a weekly basis
  • remain flexible as job priorities and project deadlines shift
Skills Required
  • strong writing, editing and communication skills
  • excellent time management and project management skills
  • strong computer skills, especially Excel & Word; Salesforce, video editing, HTML all a plus
Time Commitment
  • This position is 10 hours per week. The majority of work can be done from home, though weekly in-person meetings with Executive Director ocassionally with other volunteers will be required.
Compensation
  • $500  monthly stipend
